What is the time?
I'm trying to figure the time difference between NZ time (we are on daylight savings) and
Eastern Standard Time
But I'm just giving myself a headache...

Is that the same as EST or is that different?
If it is different then what is the difference between NYC time and EST?

we set clocks back on 10/30, 1 hour if that's what you mean- time confuses me

you went ahead recently I think? We go one hour back.....Im trusting sleepy on that. So then you will be 18 hours ahead. But today you are 17...if you went ahead recently. Its 11:14 EST on OCT 20 and for you I think its 3:14 Oct 21?? or 4:14?? did that make sense?

we are typically 2 hours ahead of oz but i think our daylight savings starts earlier than theirs so that is 3 hours at the moment.

It was a local sort of holiday that originally was designed to get the Amtrak to stop in the town once per year.
The Amtrak no longer stops, but the Canadian Geese keep coming and resting in the nearby wetlands. So the people still celebrate.
Probably right about this time of year, too.
