hi all,
I LOVE taking pictures of Fall leaves. Since I don't have any foresty areas exactly near me, I usually have to drive 2+ hours to get to "pretty" scenery.Does anyone else like to take pictures of Fall? Are the leaves turning colors by you yet? I'm hoping for lots of brilliant reds and yellows.

yes, and they're falling off the trees, getting blown around by leaf blowers - :-( bye, bye leaves

Fall is my favorite season. I love seeing the leaves change colors. They haven't changed all that much yet, but the pin oaks are turning brown and dropping their leaves first. Very odd, because usually they hold them for the winter, and then you get to clean up leaves again in the early spring.
Must be related to drought.

Yeah, grumble. (Okay, now this next part sounds soooo much like a depressed person.) It just reminds me that winter is almost here. The place I live is gray and cold and snowy for way too long. I can't wait until I can finish school and leave. Sigh.
Pardon my grumbling. I'm mostly just sick of (and frustrated with) school. And I suppose still more depressed than I should be considering how much I spend on therapy and drugs!
I do enjoy sunny fall days, though. Perhaps I should invest in a light box before winter hits. Thanks for reading my venting.

I love leaves at this time of year too...they are all colours of the rainbow...
Red, orange, yellow, green, (ok not blue!), indigo (ok, no indigo either lol), purple (I swear! there are maple trees with purple leaves here! They're naturally that colour...with green undersides...they're super cool!)
