I live about 400 or so miles south of rjlockhart98.
The temps are a few degrees milder, but the humidity more than makes up for it.

I live in Ottawa, Canada.
I don't mind the cold winters at all. They've been getting warmer every year. :-(
I just really hate the short days that winter brings...it is so deary.
Summers can get uncomfortably hot here...lots of humidity.

i live in kalamazoo, michigan. (i had to say kalamazoo because the only redeeming quality about this state is the fact that it has a city named kalamazoo.)

I moved because my family moved. Nearly all of my Mom's sisters are in Ottawa, Ontario.

I used to live in Santa Cruz. It's a great place. I go to the Trader Joe's grocery in Daly City. I don't know if you have Trader Joe's in Canada.BART is still here; it goes to the airport now. There was almost a strike about a week ago, but labor and management came to an agreement at the last minute.

That's where my hubby lived for a long time, after growing up in Newcastle. He loved it.
I'd prefer to be in a small town, though, and probably in Victoria...
Mostly, of course, just saying "hi" to someone's who's "practically a neighbor -- kinda"

Did you ever used to watch the Animaniacs? Brilliant cartoon, just brilliant. I'm reminded of Pinkey and the Brain. They are lab rats. The cartoon always starts with:
- Pinkey - 'what are we going to do tonight, Brain?
- Brain - 'same thing we do every night Pinkey. Try to take over the world'.Its a riot :-)

Was born in Wollongong (Newcastle's southern steel sister city).
My roomy's sister lives in Gisborne near Mt Macedon on 25 acres. Nice out there from what I remember. But I'd prefer somewhere closer to the Grampians maybe or maybe down on Wilson's Promentary (bit windy though). Maybe the Adelaide hills even, it's nice there too.

Hi. Are you joking? Why did I think you lived in Texas?
