Sometimes...
I'm really glad that I don't watch all that much tv.
I think it is really funny about how people who are experts in one area (ie acting) think they are experts in another (ie singing, modelling, or mental illness).
All I have to say is that I wouldn't waste my time with listening to him.
And I won't waste my time responding to him either.

(And thats a comment on him and my response to him - not a comment on your post)

That being said...
It is a shame the damage someone can do with respect to influencing popular opinion.
:-(
It is a real shame.

And it is a shame how much influence we allow the popular to have.

Its hard because there is an issue there. How much can mental illness be explained by neurological malfunctionings and how much can't? Some disorders seem to be correlated with neurological problems (or are at least seen to benefit from psychotropic medications).

But others don't.

And how much do people with these other disorders grow out of it if left to their own devices, and how much do they progress more quickly with different forms of psychological treatment?

Thanks. I believe you're the only person who actually read it and that was the point of the post. I've just been through a period wherein where I was just "trying to get through that one day".
