nice job distracting him with that disrobing and skinny-dipping bit!!!

Now Lar is "it"... but why don't we start the tag game back up AFTER we all go skinny-dipping?!?

Suze's idea sounds much nicer than scabbing up my long bare legs while looking for those hiding in the underbrush... I could use some of that cool, soft water on my scratches...

Last one in's a rotten egg..... (splash)

So Is the Game Over, then?

Am I making a campfire on the beach while you two go skinny-dipping? A good, hot one, with very little smoke, you know.. there's no breeze so it'll be pleasant. And we can have hot decaf with Bailey's in it, and talk and sing. Does anybody play guitar?

If the skinny dipping has just begun, the game isn't over, eh?

Yes, we must have a guitar player....I'm a guitar thrasher, not a player.

What else can we do? We could tell stories, that's always fun... but someone would have to know some good ones. That's the type of thing that's fun to study up on and bring with you, a cache of spoken goodies.

i believe we are waiting for alex to locate her veggie marshmallows and then we will commence with the ghost stories around the bonfire. Susan has some good ones. I have the one where you hear 'thump' 'thump' 'thump' as the one legged man climbs the stairs to the room where we are hiding.

And I'm sure Damos will give you a push.

Incase anybody knows...

Is it possible to swing right round over the top?
Or will you get up there in the air and then just splat down again?
Or is either option somehow prevented?
I worry about this a lot...

delving way, way back to my physics days there are a combination of forces at play here, centripetal and centrifugal. In theory yes it is possible if the required amount of force (momentum) could be created. The mens high bar in Olympic gymnastics is an example. The key difference being that on the swing the weight is on the circumference not toward the centre as with the gymnast. Think about trying to roll a tyre that has a big lead weight stuck in it. As you try to roll it the weight makes it harder and harder to roll the higher it gets until it gets pst the vertical where the weight begins to act in your favour due to gravity and accelerate downwards at 9.8m per second thereby creating enough momentum to push it up the otherside.

Does that make any sense? Suffice to say, you don't really need to worry Alex, that amount of force required to push an adult over the top would be considerable. You'd probably be lucky to swing through an arc of 270 degrees.
