Yeah I am pretty much addicted to the morning episodes of Little House on the Prairie.
When I was a little girl, I always thought I'd grow up to marry Charles Ingalls.
My husband is about as close as you can get these days..

The West Wing - (not as good as when Aaron Sorkin was writing it but still the best on tv IMHO)
Gilmore Girls
Medium
I like the CSIs and the Law and Orders but I'm starting to get really sick of them.I went to the taping of a new comedy show by the former writers/developers of "Frasier". It was really funny. It's untitled as of this time. Hopefully it will be out in the fall. We could really use a good comedy.

1) House, the new Dr show on Fox
2) Gilmore Girls
3) Angel (stuck watching re-runs now that it's over, though)
4) Charmed
5) almost anything on Animal Planet (giving up, 'cause giving up cable tv to conserve utility costs)
Though I must admit that the only one I "schedule" myself to watch is House, Tuesdays at 9:00 pm... Missed it last night due to moving stuff from house to new apt though... darn...

yea House! it's a great show and i'm not into that type of show either. maybe it's dr. house and how irreverant he is. and smart. and cute in his own way. i've never liked anyone telling me what to do so the fact that he is able to get away with doing that strikes a cord.
gilmore girls is another 'do not miss'.

People keep talking about House. I have never heard of it before.
What's the plot?

house is about a doctor (dr house) who works with three (ok two for the time being) interns? or whatever they are. he (and his team) solve medical illnesses that 'no one else' can solve. so someone comes into the hospital/clinic with a problem and they work thru options for what it could be...usually almost knocking off the patient while trying different medications.
it's hard to put into words the rather irreverant attitude that dr house has. let me know if you watch it and what you think.

Hyacinth Bucket? Keeping Up Appearances. I've seen almost every episode at least three times. British comedy is lovely, and so is British drama.

Can't believe I'd forgotten our Hyacinth. Sadly hasn't been on down under in years. I've often wondered what an "indoor outdoor BBQ with finger food" would be like.

Plus it stars Hugh Laurie, British actor (anyone remember Jeeves and Wooster?) who does an AMAZING American accent. The guy is incredible. He says when he gets tired he starts to sound like a Frenchman.
And it's a great show.

My husband loves that show (along with OC choppers!).. UGH.
I stay away from those shows. LOL. I just let him tell me which myths are myths and which myths are real the next morning.
He gets pretty excited over that show.
Anyone here want to confess to watching MTV's Punk'd??***becuase I sure don't ever watch it, especially the last episode with Nicole Ritchie.. Nope.. never**

just watched the second installment last nite. Interesting premise, which i'm not sure how much one can talk about here. It's basically a mystery? a nun searches for jesus with the assumption that he is living amoung us. Perhaps a take-off on The Da Vinci Code?

One of my favourites, when I do watch TV and I'm lucky enough to catch him, is the Dave Nye the Science Guy. And the nice thing about that is the kids can watch it too. At certain times, I love shows about nature, the ocean, the climate, people in different cultures (those are fascinating, oh yes), history, biography, it always depends on other factors. I really would have to say I was lying when I have a favourite. I really don't.
