Law and Order - Criminal Intent by far. Raymond would be second though.

Right now, endless reruns of The Nanny. I think it's my mood.

Other times I can't bear to watch comedy and immerse myself in endless reruns of Law and Order.

Of course, I'm always in the mood for Nero Wolfe. Not too heavy, not too light. It's just right for every mood!

The Trailer Park Boy's RULES because they swear a lot and smoke a lot of dope, but there is never any violence. Here is a description of the show, at season 5: (p.s. view one of the main characters here: http://tinyurl.com/cy22f Check out the glasses!!!)

Showcase proudly presents ten new episodes of the Gemini award-winning Trailer Park Boys, a Showcase Original Series. Like all good stories, season five opens in a Nova Scotia jail…

Last time around all three of the boys (Julian, Ricky and Bubbles) ended up in prison. It wasn't so bad though. They had each other and Bubbles got to keep one of his cats with him. Oh and one more thing—they own the Sunnyvale Trailer Park now.

A few other minor things happen in the lives of the Trailer Park Boys. Grandmothers in drug dens; wheelchair fraud arrests; nasty rap videos; stolen rocket launchers; break-ins at the local college; dope shipped in shopping carts; Lahey getting an award and probably the biggest gun fight in Canadian television history—and that includes King of Kensington.

Just another year in the Sunnyvale Trailer Park.
No big deal.

mean't for everyone :-) ^^^^^^^^^ (nm)

My cat when he used to lay up on top of it 'cause he loved the warmth. Then fell asleep and suddenly slipped off, scaring the cr*p out of himself!

LOL LMAO

Now THAT was real comedy!

our cable tv provider is running a weeklong preview of the BBC channel, i believe it's called. i turned it on one day and had great fun with the sitcoms...the uk version of a house fix-up which turned out really awesome. then that sitcom set in a dept store. then the couple whose daughter just got married and moved out. followed by the woman who is always trying to move in high society with her husband. of course knowing the names of these shows would help. perhaps if you live in the uk you will recognize them. i finished off my day with an episode of the avengers which i haven't seen on in the states for ages. yipppeee!

My dog loves watching nature programs. It's a hoot when the animals disappear of the side of the screen and she goes and looks behind the tv to see where they've gone.

Yeah I am pretty much addicted to the morning episodes of Little House on the Prairie.

When I was a little girl, I always thought I'd grow up to marry Charles Ingalls.

My husband is about as close as you can get these days..

The West Wing - (not as good as when Aaron Sorkin was writing it but still the best on tv IMHO)

Gilmore Girls

Medium

I like the CSIs and the Law and Orders but I'm starting to get really sick of them.

I went to the taping of a new comedy show by the former writers/developers of "Frasier". It was really funny. It's untitled as of this time. Hopefully it will be out in the fall. We could really use a good comedy.

Kara

Also, Golden Girls (nm)

1) House, the new Dr show on Fox
2) Gilmore Girls
3) Angel (stuck watching re-runs now that it's over, though)
4) Charmed
5) almost anything on Animal Planet (giving up, 'cause giving up cable tv to conserve utility costs)

Though I must admit that the only one I "schedule" myself to watch is House, Tuesdays at 9:00 pm... Missed it last night due to moving stuff from house to new apt though... darn...

yea House! it's a great show and i'm not into that type of show either. maybe it's dr. house and how irreverant he is. and smart. and cute in his own way. i've never liked anyone telling me what to do so the fact that he is able to get away with doing that strikes a cord.

gilmore girls is another 'do not miss'.

What's the plot?

house is about a doctor (dr house) who works with three (ok two for the time being) interns? or whatever they are. he (and his team) solve medical illnesses that 'no one else' can solve. so someone comes into the hospital/clinic with a problem and they work thru options for what it could be...usually almost knocking off the patient while trying different medications.

it's hard to put into words the rather irreverant attitude that dr house has. let me know if you watch it and what you think.
