Did ya' see? I am officially out of the *club.*Gee, how to feel? Sad? Mad? Glad? Honored?
It was bound to happen, I suppose...

He was as gentle as I've ever seen him.
So gentle in fact, that I wasn't sure it was an official PBC to you or a reminder in general.

I agree with Dinah. I didn't take that as being directly to you.
How do you like them apples? ;)

Well, I love some kinds of apples...but we digress...
Your point might be valid, but...
1) his post was posted to *my* post, rather than any other one in the thread (weak but, also..)2) He quoted my sarcastic remark.
So there, so there, so there. (Lordy, I sound proud or something...that may be pathological )
OK..fine, are you saying it doesn't *count*? Huh? Huh?
(Truth be told, I'd rather be PBC'd when I think I'm righteously angry at someone who's still actively posting....not even close to the case here...)

Hmm, I did notice that. Terribly mellow and polite. But that made sense, considering the background of the thread....
For some reason, now DB's nice tone seems ickky.
Or maybe not. I am so weird today. Mood swings. Strange thoughts.
Anyway, as I asked gg....did it count or not?
So much in life is uncertain, one really must at least know if one is still a virgin.

He put "general" in the reply, so I'm not sure.
I suppose you need to ask him. Intent is key.

I might add, that unlike my therapist, Dr. Bob's words never have any icky content. :)
Any ickiness probably came from the jests involved.

>>He put "general" in the reply, so I'm not sure.
Yes, true, but he also quoted my sarcastic line specifically. Because I was baaaad.
I am being quite anal about this.
I am also 98% kidding.
Might worry about the other 2% - not sure.
Oh no, I shall not ask him.
Must retain some semblance of dignity.
{hey, quit, I hear that snickering...}Appreciate being humored in my odd mood.
(Maybe I'm giddy from seeing alex's post :-))

It's remarkable you wrote that, because I was thinking of telling you the first time, I think I may have gotten the word *icky* sort of stuck in my head just before I posted on this thread.
It was from reading the thread on your T's reaction on PBP. It's disturbing me on several levels. And somehow, it morphed into it maybe not being okay for Dr. Bob to even be polite to us. Quite a stretch, that is.
I mean, nothing about you or your T. or icky stuff actually there in your therapy, not at all. But about things it brings to mind for me with past/present T's and stuff like that. Still sorting it all out. I felt tense and queasy reading some of that thread. who knows. yuk.

I still feel tense and queasy thinking about it.
I'm hoping we'll be able to work something out to get off that residual ickiness, because I feel it clinging to my skin like a tangible substance.
On the other hand, if Dr. Bob has any sensitivity whatsoever, I'm certain he'll clarify for you one way or another.

I was mortified when I got my first PBC
Absolutely mortified.
I don't take them so badly anymore
(Though I still take them very seriously)
I do worry a bit that they are tallying their way up to a blocking...
But it was hard to no longer be a member of the PBC virgin club.
How many members are left???

It really is a feat, though.
Well done :-)

Been around here a little over 4 years. Apparently I'm such a wimp I can't even be a little offensive much less uncivil. Oh well.
Peace out

Well done.
:-)Hmm.
I do hate to think that sometimes PBC's are 'worth it' but sometimes they do feel a little bit that way...
gg is quite good at saying what she thinks within the civility limits.
I wish I was better at that...

Awww, thanks alex. I was just about to raise my hand to confirm my status. But I guess that is not necessary. Plus, I confirmed it recently on admin. :)
I look lousy in white, though.

So silly :).

Still, All Done is right. I think eggshell will be just fine.
