Are you still doing your necklaces?

Dinah, I have missed you so!! Thanks for asking. I've made 3 - one of them my T asked for, I'm hoping to barter jewelry for therapy. I still sweat buckets from concentration, but it's so cool to be able to wear them afterwards. I'm considering it my occupational therapy while I'm on leave from work.
How are your parents faring? You sound like you've been stressed lately.

It does sound like occupational therapy! As well as getting beautiful jewelry out of it. I wish I were creative.
I've been under a lot of stress at work, as well as with my parents. :( I haven't been well physically either. I had some episodes where my vision got blurry and I was sort of disoriented. I'm also two weeks late (and no, I'm not pregnant). I had a ton of tests run today on every conceivable cause. Or at least any one my doctor could think of. If that doesn't show anything I guess I'll write it off to anxiety attacks. But I'm pretty familiar with anxiety attacks and these weren't them, unless they're a new variety. And that wouldn't explain late either.
Then I came down with a cold today. It seems to be moving quickly though. I'm past sore throat into drippy nose. Hopefully it will speed quickly through to congestion, cough, and back to no cold at all.
But I do have some good news. I'm off tomorrow to pick up two brand new (older) puppies. It is a bit soon after Harry, but these sort of fell into my lap. And yes, I realize it's a bit crazy of me with so much else going on in my life, but I'm hoping it will change my attitude a bit.
Which is probably way more than you wanted to know about me. :)

I think it should be put to babble to name the pups...Ben and Jerry? Bush and Chaney? (kidding)
I guess I should ask...girls or boys?

I think getting the pups will be great! There's always time for a sloppy kiss and cuddle. I forgot, did you mention a breed? Congratulations!

Believe it or not, I'm not a Bush fan. I like very few politicians. I think Tsongas was the last presidential candidate I actually wanted to vote for. And before that, Reagan. Hmmm... Reagan would be a sweet name for the girl. There are lots of girl Reagans around here. I'm not sure Tsongas would make a good call name. :)
But I got my son involved with the new pups by letting him name them. The girl is Fiona (Princess Fiona from Shrek). The boy is Dobby (the house elf - Harry Potter).
Although they look so much alike, I think I would have gone with "pair names" like Tristan and Isolde.
Dobby is a sweet doll. He's a silky lapsitter and puppykisser. Fiona is a bit more guarded, but she's a sweetie too. In fact she's on my lap right now, looking a bit disconcerted.

Maltese. And so far no sloppy kisses. That sweet dry puppy kiss that comes before their mouths grow a lot of mucus. :) I love puppy kisses.

Your son gets As from me...I love the names he picked! Dobby is one of my favorite characters.
Besides, if it is anything like my house, nicknames are sure to ensue...We have a kitty nameed Tennessee Williams, which evolved to TW, which evolved to Twubs...he is my husband's cat and it is amazing to hear this guy talk baby talk to an animal. Sheesh. Wish he as nearly as nice to me!!
pictures would be good.

Dinah, when my dad was dying, my cycle became all wonky too and I thought I was pregnant. My body was just not working at 100% with all the stress. Like that doesn't add to it...
Your new puupies sound wonderful. I'm sure Harry is giving them a friendly once over and a wag of his tail from where he is.
(and sharing info about your life is appreciated, Dinah, and how I think we help each other. I'm always here to listen and offer unsolicited advice.)
