Now you know why I was taking this personally!! My yahoo must be messed up - I sent out many emails last week and none of them have been answered... but not returned either.
I had a major problem at work last Thursday with a quick and strong mood swing. Went home crying, stayed home Friday. Saw the doctor as an emergency, Upped the effexor to 225mg, but guess what the problem is- it's hormones. I have the whole sorry tale on yahoo in my outbox. Basically I just said that I have been so very depressed and I felt that every time I email you all I do is whine, which I thought was pretty pathetic. I didn't want to keep giving you my sad and sorry news.
When I get to work tomorrow I'll send it from my work email (my email address there has my name in it).

Mystic, I will gmail you. (nm)

Hey guys,

I agree with Mystic and her earlier posts about not wanting to come on the boards and read about negativity. We should all be here for one another. This is a place where we should be able to come to feel safe and to get the support we need when we are feeling down or share a kind word when we are feeling good.

New Wife, I think your name is beautiful and it reflects who you are and that is a new wife. I loved being a new wife and 5 years later I still love being a wife, so don't let anyone get you down about that. What is a name anyway? Who cares what we call ourselves and please don't leave because of Dr. Bob - it is his job to monitor the boards and make sure that everything stays in control. I don't know what happened, but I don't want you to leave, please reconsider.

Lexy, are you feeling better. You make me worried when I know that you are not doing well and then I don't hear from you. We have to all agree that when we post that we are not doing well that we can't disappear and make everyone wonder what's going on. Jlynne, I am glad to hear that you are doing better and I hope it continues. Mrs. C must really not be feeling well because she hasn't posted at all. I think Mystic and I will have to call her at home and see what's going on. The last time she wrote me on my personal email was that she had a sinus infection plus bronchitis. Please say prayers for everyone on this board past and present who is having a hard time whether it be mentally or physically.

Come on yo-yo's let's stick together and be the way we use to be ((((strong)))). Everyone needs everyone on this board and we can all make a difference in each others life, whether it's just a word of advice or an ear to listen. We are all going to have our bad and good days and this is what this board is for....to either come here and vent or come here and share a positive attitude so we can help someone have a better day.

Mystic - love ya girl! what else can I say we are like to to peas in a pod.

Well I am done preaching and I hope this posts helps everyone. Love to all.

Well I am struggling with the Lexapro weight gain.....does anyone have any advice.

I don't know what I want to do - get off the lex and be anxious but thinner and happier or stay on the lex and risk gaining more and more weight.

I have been on the lex since March of this year and have already gained 12 pounds. When does it stop? or does it. The weight gain is starting to consume my every thought, but not enough to really do something about it. It is so weird this feeling. It's like a lack of motivation to really get serious.

Does anyone else feel this way. Any advice please!!

why the heck are you being so rude? in my opinion i was a bride on my wedding day, now i am a wife. nobody was jumping on you. i hardly know you and maybe i took what you wrote out of context, but i know i didnt when read your most recent posts. i was not aware that you were having problems, and i would have been more then happy to be a friend during that time. i was never given the chance. i am so sorry you feel sad and mad and whatever else. i just sensed some sarcasm and anger in your post. i am sorry you felt ganged up on. i never meant for it to be like that. i am not that type of person. sorry if you felt that way. i hope you are ok now, if not i will be glad to talk about it, or should i say write about it. hee hee.--jess

Trucker,

I don't post much on the social board. I have a hard time connecting to people cyberly. Anyway, I carefully read this entire thread and, believe me, you didn't do anything remotely wrong.

If anything, you were being good-natured and I guess it was misunderstood. I hope you keep posting as long as it helps you.

New Wife,

Try cutting back, or altogether cutting out, one indulgence--for me it's been lattes. Instead I take my coffee, mix it with some milk, and heat it in saucepan. Same creamy taste, 1/3 the calories. I also cut breads--and replaced with yogurt, low sodium soups, and cottage cheese to get the calcium and fiber and protein needed w/o wasting calories on high-fructose corn syrup and partially-hydrogenated fats. I try to avoid any breads with these two ingredients. And start walking--it will ease you into a fitness routine that you could live with. Plus, there's the added bonus of getting to see first-hand and regularly how crazy your neighbors are.

Good luck,
Edna Babish
