Has anyone else besides me had psychotic symptoms at some point during their lives? If so, what were they? I used to feel like people were laughing at me on the street and in my dorm.
I would really like to hear from people who have had psychosis. I think it will make me feel less alone.

Well I've never had psychosis, but I hate to see someone who wants to feel less alone, with a lone post. Although the psychology board is more about therapy treatments, you might get more responses there. Are you recieving therapy for it? If you are that would be the perfect place to ask your question.
It doesn't look like anyone here right now has had experience with it, but I know I've seen it mentioned on the Pyschology board.

That is a great way to go about it!, in my personal opinion. It seems like it is something that is close to me in my mind. Like a security blanket a kid carries around or something. Even though it's come and gone...I hate myself for it though. Because I hate the word "psychotic" and the word "anti-psychotic." When I think of these words and apply them to myself I feel like some kind of bad unworthy loser of a person.

written by a woman who believed her "psychosis"
(She detests that label for the reasons you stated) was her subconcsious - in technicolor basically. It's extremely well written, and fascinating. Though I don't agree with all her views on Psychiatry after what she endured I can certainly understand how she came by them.
Just in case you may be interested it's called"Too Much Anger Too Many Tears"

I have psychotic symptoms.... seeing, hearing, feeling, and smelling things that are not real. Sometimes I need to ask someone else whether what I'm seeing, etc. is real or not.
One day that will live on in my mind, like 9-11, the shuttle disasters, etc. is the day when my psychiatrist said "...and for the psychotic symptoms....". I was not expecting "The P-word", and it hit really hard. I know where I was when I first heard it, and what I was doing. I don't wish that experience on anyone, except for perhaps unthinking, unfeeling family who treat me like I'm doing something wrong by being sick.

I may never have known that "psychosis" is what it is called, but yes, I have had the belief that people were talking about me, playing with my head, laughing at me, humoring me.
Most of my childhood I felt that way, and, indeed, my family and the neighborhood treated me like I was nuts.
I was/am very empathetic, so this combination was quite devastating at times.I would break down and have what they called tantrums. But tantrums are usually because someone doesn't get what they want or their own way. I simply became overwhelmed by my feelings and fears and lost my composure. Very badly.
Coming from a kid, and in those days, I can see how they would have ignorantly considered my losing it tantrums.
I can still feel it. I struggle with the memories which live in me.
Am I psychotic? I'm not thinkin' so, but...
hmmmmmmmmm...
