After leaving work tonight, I took a drive down to the beach on Lake Ontario, and there was a magnificent sunset. I was also listening to this excellent new cd by the Canadian band The Tea Party. There is a song called "Oceans", which is an amazing, beautiful ballad-like song written about the death of a best friend. Maybe I'll put it up on the web and folks can listen to it for themselves.
I was pretty much bawling my eyes out when I heard this song, blended in with the sunset and all of that...memories...memories...oh the scars...memories. Yeah...I have, uhh, a few issues about death, loss, and grief. I still find it hard to come to terms with 'closure', as I cycle yearly through all the stages. I guess no medication is much of a match for such things.
