Welcome to our group! Tell us a little about yourself. I am a 24 year old female who just finished my Masters in Social Work and am taking my liscensure test this weekend!!! I came to this sight when I began taking lexapro about 6 months ago for depression due to birth control pill which turned to anxiety about being depressed then stayed on because of a situation being away from home in a state where I had no one...my family, friends and boyfriend all long...long distance. Been doing much better so I am trying to get off the lex here in the next few months.

Welcome, Nicko!! You will find this board very supportive, and if you get in a bad place there are angels here to help you through it. I would have given up on lex in March if it hadn't been for these angels.

nicko, jlynne is the best angel here... helps when she is in need herself....very sweet person, with a big heart... this thread helps so many... and lex is the best too.. it takes a little while to work but when you get past the s/e's it is wonderful

Hey everyone...today wasnt as good as yesterday but hopefully tomorrow will be better than today..haha...I start my new treatment EMDR (rapid eye movement therapy) on the 28th so hopefully that will work and I can feel better..Not sure about the meds I can see weight creeping on and I still workout as much as I always have...And my memory is just shot which is not good for the job..have been on the 17.5 for almost a week so have an appt with the dr tomorrow and we will see...the only thing she can say lately is go up to 20mgs well if I feel like this on 17.5 what will 20 be like...Thanks for the support everyone..talk to you soon...mystic

well my other half came home and he wanted to post so i made him get his own id, so he wouldn't get me in trouble, and dang it any way i got in trouble ... it was believed that i was the one in the same and i got blocked... after sending messages to dr-bob he said sorry it took so long to answer message and make hubby post from different computer... any way that is finally straightened out

I know you probably wouldn't want to get back on this habit, but I find a cup of coffee in the morning and some iced tea in the afternoon helps clear some of the fog that is related to my memory problems.
