Hey Lex Ladies,
Oprah would be a lot of fun, you know she is from Mississippi just like me. However, that is about all we have in common, count me in as long as I do not have to deal with Dr. Phil, he is a tool shed, his son is pretty cute though....

Hey Bride,
We have been together about 15 months and the majority has been long distance. Its really hard, there have been a few times that were hard especially with me becoming depressed. There were a lot of times that I wanted to break up because I thought he should be with someone worthy and normal. He stood by me, called my parents everyday to talk about my improvements or what more they could do for me. After that i knew that there is no one else who would love me enough to stand by me after seeing me at my very very very very worst. He is in law school so he is super busy as well, but we talk at least 2 hours a day then each weekend we have a "phone date" where we order in food and "have dinner" together then we will get on the internet and look at houses, dogs ebay... Its hard but we have made it. He is originally from NC but is in law school in Mississippi. I of course am originally from Ms but am in school in Louisville Ky... vomit.. what a terrible place. Anyway I want details of your wedding. My boy and I have been looking at rings, found one a tiffany and co that we love. We will either get that one or he will have something custom made....exciting!!!!! Anyway, give me details girl, dont hold out!!!

I went to the oprah website when I submitted the letter for my dad.
I guess our show topic could be internet support...
Start it out something like what do a grandma a teacher, two brides to be, a dental assistant, a truck driver have in common(I am not sure what everyone does...)?... They are bound by sisterhood on an internet chatboard...
We're all over the country and we're best friends even though we have never seen each other's faces...

The date is July 10th. I always wanted to get married in the summer. I love hot weather. I live in Charlotte North Carolina. Yes, a southern girl at heart. Kinda like Jessica Simpson, haha, yeah right. Joe ( my fiance) and me have been together almost 2 years and i know it sounds silly but on our first date i went to the bathroom and called my best friend and told her he was the one i was going to marry. which was so not me, b/c i always said i would not marry until i was 30! i love him and he treats me like a princess. we had a hard time for a while b/c i lost my sex drive, he stuck by me even though he did not understand, i knew then how much he cared about me. Well, about the wedding, i love butterflies, so it will have alot of them. we are having about 150 people. i have a huge family. the reception is at a county club, it is like a cinderella ballroom! i love it. i am really excited. i will tell you more later. love yall!

I agree, if Doctor Phil was there i would probably punch him out. it is so funny how totally different people can all come togther and be so close. it makes me want to cry when i think about it. from now on i will consider us the "Oprah girls" kinda like the ya ya's. how funny! it would be so cool to meet all of you guys face to face! Ok guys, I finally did it. I blew it. my kids were SO crazy today, I cried. I called the office for help and no one came, so I just cried. I think I scared them some, they were all talking about it, but not laughing, most of them...I even had some of the kids from my other classes come in and see if I was ok...It wasnt a long episode, probably 3 miutes I was actually crying, but they were dead silent. I am so embarrassed now, I feel like they got the best of me and now they know it. I had two girls screaming across the room at each other, three that refused to do work, quite a few others that just ignored me when I was trying to get them quiet, a couple out of their seat, so I started kicking them out. i sent one next door, two to an empty room beside me, three in the hall... Then I said are the rest of you ready to learn, then I was like interior angles...WHHHHHAAAAAAAA, snigg snort snot gasp.
The only thing that made me feel better was one girl said I think youre tough. There is only five weeks of school left and this is the first time you cried, I would have a long time ago...I have felt lie it for a long time...My teacher friend said sometimes it is better to get it out, youll probably go home feeling more relieved than anyone. He made me feel better, too. I just don't even know what to do!!!

Anakin, i am so sorry that you had to go through that with the kids today. But you know what? your student was right - you ARE strong! Kids that age are VERY difficult to deal with, ANYTIME, let alone try to teach them something they don't think they need to know in the first place! I applaud anyone who is willing to take on such a challenge; you are very special.
I had a teacher who cried a couple times, but we knew it was because she LOVED us, and CARED about us, and we felt really bad that we had done such a thing (whatever it was) that would make her cry. It actually made us act nicer to her afterward. You will get your composure back tomorrow, and your kids will feel closer to you because of what happened. Most kids that age don't realize that adults have feelings:~)
You have been through two very rough incidents in a very short time, and your emotions are on overload, but you will get it back together. I know you are a wonderful teacher - the fact that your other students came in to check on you tells me that.
Hang in there, sweetie. You are doing great. Just remember TOFU!!
