I just heard this song (by accident) that included the title to this thread. I am amazed at how accurate it is. Plus, I've always loved Shania Twain.
But, the thing that really got me was the title. Yeah...it only hurts when I'm breathing. My dreams only die when I'm dreaming.
Sorry if this is not upbeat enough for social.
Is everything a trigger now?

And it only hurts when I'm breathing
My heart only breaks when it's beating
My dreams only die when I'm dreaming
So, I hold my breath - to forgetShania Twain

Does she write her own songs?
I love the line: "My dreams only die when I'm dreaming."
Doesn't it make sense to put this on the writing site.
I love well crafted songs.
They are way beyond poetry...In Ireland many 100's of years ago the Bard would sing the local news and go from one town to the next passing the word.
That was their newspaper.
I like the song and think Shania Twain is amazing.
Thanks for sharing this.

Wow, Shar,
Yes, there is a real resonance to those lyrics they carry real truth.
Life looks great on the outside. But the living is painful.
I hope that you can find gentler air to breathe, so it won't hurt so much.
P.S. Social doesn't have to be "upbeat". It is important to know that it is OK to not always be upbeat.

Jai~~~I too think that songs are so wonderful.....I started posted them on a literary site that I used to be on and some of the other posters hit the roof!! After much persuasion, they relented and then started submitting their favourites.....A good song is a treasure to find.........
This is the end of the thread.
