JLYNNE thats one of the many reasons I won't try an SSRI for my anxiety..all I need is to lose motivation i work out rain or shine, sick or well 5 days a week 1 hr minimum.....I kickbox, do Pilates, Ballet, do weights...run,do Yoga, swim you name it...I do take the weekends off cause the hubby lurks but HATE IT....I think you have to MAKE yourself exersise no matter what....force it on yourself...Buy the dark chco for the granskids now on...lol at least its high in anti-oxidants :-)

I went to a place called High Point in New Jersey a few years ago and stood at the top where I could see the three corners of New Jersey, Pennsylvania and New York. Do you suppose I could see the Catskill Mountains from there?

Sexy I eat very close to Atkins as diabetics need to watch carbs...so I eat a lot of meat <g> and the carbs I do eat are whole grain not just colored bread but whole grain ..I buy a lot of organic foods....thus high fiber..I eat some cereals but again the not FUN kind mostly oatmeal not instant shedded wheat bran, bran, Kashi anything....and Atkins opened up the door to some snacks for me...see sugar and fat free do NOT mean low carb or calories so this keeps me fit and also on the diabetic program..Not many people can eat like me.....makes Atkins look fun :-) Like today..I had for breakfast KNOWING I would be lazy...a can of tuna and some olive oil with some fake mayo....lunch I went wild ate the meat off a Arbys sandwich and have 1 cheese stick....breaded kind..for dinner I had a evil bowl of minesonni soup at Olive Garden and salad with cheese..then 2 muffins with BENECOL not long ago ..that was a pig out for a lazy day..On a day I exercise I add more GOOD carbs...berries mostly wheat bread or cereal....and more meat..
I take Ambein at bed...and valim as needed but I now take them all at bed hahaha no comments :p and um 1 neurontin for sleep too...My rule of thumb is weight fluctuates but if you go over 3 pounds add an extra 1/2 hr of exercise till your back down

I'm with you jlynne...I bought those cadbury mini eggs and ate the whole bag in less than 2 days..then somebody brought them in to work and I ate just about the whole bag then also..I love those things....But made it to the gym...Hey I have problems making it through my arobics class without feeling very tired and weak...and lifting weights lately I have had to go down on the amount of weights I lift...Hope that subsides from the meds settling...Enjoy your chocolate..Mystic

What can you do then (when the cash is gone) that you can't do now? Do you have a plan?

When I left my first husband, I made a plan; it took me 9 mo's to carry it out, but I did it. I'm not saying that *MY* plan would work for you, but *A* plan might not be a bad idea. Plus, it would give you some goals, and something to look forward to, rather than something to dread every day.
Just a thought.

{{{ jlynne ))) thanks and I do have an ex husband but my life and situation now is different...I have no cash on my own and no job...dont think I can hold one right now....no place to go with all my pets so its stay till I have no other choice and we are so broke we lose all we have and then..whatever happens happens...What you said makes PERFECT SENSE it isnt workable for me...cause the only out is...a new dude with cash..or winning the lottery..or working THUS being WELL WITH NO ANXIETY AND FAST so I can work..I dont see any of that happening..sadly

Well, it sounds like you are working on a pretty important goal already - getting your anxiety under control, right?
How about this:
Goal #1: get anxiety under control
Goal #2: make a plan
There. Now you have a plan!
(((Here's to you!)))

. . . guess you've probably already heard any advice I might be able to give, huh?
So, what is going to happen . . . are you for sure going to lose your house?
I was forced to sell a house once - years ago when my kids were small. It turned out to be a good thing for me - got me out of the town I was living in (bad influences).
Gosh, that was a lifetime ago. My kids have kids now!
