I just found out tonight that one of my best friends was in a horrible car accident on Wednesday. She has had to have her right leg amputated and this is going to be devastating for more than just the obvious reasons. Belly dancing has been a major part of her life for the last 9 years and she will need all the strength that can be sent her way to survive the loss. Sometime in the future she may actually be able to get back to dancing with the use of an artificial limb but for now she just needs to survive the accident and all of it's consequences. She is like a sister to me and I am still in shock right now...since I moved in November her parents didn't have my new phone number so I just found out....Her name is Bonnie.
Thanks to all,
toots

I'll keep you both in my thoughts and prayers.

Oh, I am so sorry. That is just devastating. I'm glad she has such a good friend in you. I will definitely pray for her. Please also take care of yourself. The shock is awful, and she has a long road ahead of her. I know that you are the kind of person who will want to be there for her. Just remember to always put your oxygen mask on first before helping others.
Please let her know of the babbler support! And feast on it, yourself.

I'm sorry momma! I'm thinking about her and you right now. I know that you'll be there to help support your friend, so she has one of the greatest people in the world on her side.

Sorry to be late (been out of town and swamped), but I'm so sorry about your friend! I'll try to send lots of positive energy in her direction. And also in your direction, because I know it can be tough to have a loved one in such bad shape.
