Posting and replying to this board has been a major help for me. It has helped in lessening the isolation that I have experienced every day for at least five years. I just wish that mental health was a permittable disease in society, like diabetes is. It is such a hinderance to long term employability and I find it makes casual friendships hard to achieve. I am terrified I will be found out. Last week someone referred to a visitor at work as BiPolar Bob and I must have blanched right there. I was sure I had been ferreted out. Good old paranoia. Besides, BP Bob is just annoying, not ill.

* I love this site and have since I got here not too long ago. I got off to a rocky start here but it's smooth sailing right now. I feel so close to the people on this site but I don't have to see them every day in my life. I can be positive and no one will pressure me to be like them or think like them or....I can be myself here. I like being myself. It's a good fit.
I'm glad you are here too.
