Does anyone here feel the same way I do that after using the internet for a while you start to get a little tired of it? Maybe it is time to move to something else like excersise, outdoor activities, art, reading books, social life
This is how I feel and I was just wondering if there are others

I have found the 'net to be a time stealer and while I really love some of the places I "attend", it is escapism at it's core..... and that realization has made me conclude there is definately "stuff" I'm missing that could be part of a healthier way to conduct my life.
I don't know if mine is being bored of the 'net as much as it sometimes gets too important to my entertainment and gives me any excuse to not engage in the real aspects of a full life. Like TV, it's a trap.
Maybe this isn't where you were going with this... but that's my take.

I don't get tired of the internet, but often, I'll sit down at the computer and forget just what it was that I wanted to do. I'll be trying to remember what it was that i wanted more information on, who I wanted to chat with, and then I'm just sitting there doing nothing.
Fortunately, I have a dial-up connection, and I'll get logged out after watching an unchanging screen after a half-hour or so.
If I had broad-band access, I might stay on throughout the night. Fortunately, I don't have to worry about that.
Dee.

yeah my intention is usually to look for a second job on the internet when i log on by sending resumes or searching openings, but I never end up doing that instead I end up playing, listening to music or something of that nature, I need to start using it to get something done instead but it is hard to do. When I log on the first place I go to is Pschyco Babble

Me too!! All the time.
I should start keeping a little memo pad to jot the things down.
