My thoughts are with you like I said, and please let us know how the vet appt goes.
Keep your chin up.
It broke my heart when I had to put my best friend down. I now have a new 'bestfriend' and I pray you will find another dog just like the one you lost and tend to the one who is sick right now. It seems these animals are God's gifts and we are all so lucky to have them for however long that is.

I gave the full update above, but suffice it to say I'm breathing a bit easier. Except when the phone rings and I jump a mile. I'm half afraid I should have stayed with him, but I know I would have just got in the way of the people doing their best for him.
