I don't know if the pharmacy got something wrong with my pills today but suddenly I'm awake after taking my evening pills and sleeping pills(several hours ago).
I woke up with a start and a racing heart and fear. Just total fear.
Not a panic attack, I don't think from what I've read, but never had this happen before.
Scared and awake and not even clear headed enough to figure out meds from pharmacy. Do I take more sleeping pills to get back to sleep or am I just supposed to sit awake all night and tell the pdoc about this during next week's visit?
Damn I'm tired and confused and startled.
Any calming ideas out there from insomniacs or folks in other time zones?

you are fine. not paniced but scared, that happens.
>>>I don't know if the pharmacy got something wrong with my pills today <<< sure, why not. may be an error on their part or a side effect that is rare and labeled to one of those neat tear of sheets you get with you scripts.
As for waiting for doc, never. Call, ge a bother. It is his/her job and most are receptive to patients fears or concerns.
Or one more "sleeping pill"......
