Errrr...am I? Is it that unconsciously obvious??? I never really noticed "consciously", that I desire to meet another as neurotic as my-self. I have always felt that it's not fair for me to date "normal" women, now you called my bluff, so to speak. time for some soul searching here...interesting comment and thank you for the xoxoxo's. I admit I miss those and do feel a bit better.
I think I am embarrassed, but need to obsess about that a bit to decide how much so...lol

Sailor Tony you might be the only rooster in the henhouse lately. Jay is the other you're thinking of-- he's blocked. Bluedog was posting, but he's been absent lately. There used to be some other males, but they're silent too. You want some male energy you have to go to PB and listen to the med chatter.

Now, don't go getting embarrassed, sailor -- you're gonna make me feel bad!!! I can't *help* it if I have Empathy RADAR (as Dinah et al were talking about several days ago -- growing up having to gauge the emotional state of those around you. In my case it wasn't so much a "have to" as "there is nothing else to do" so I got really good at it.)
It doesn't mean you said or did anything ridiculously revealing -- it just means I took a from-the-hip shot in the dark and maybe accidentally smacked you with a rubber dart (the ones with the suction cups on the end that go "slorp!" when you pull them off.) Mostly I was just being funny -- you know how I am, always aping for the crowd, trying to make people laugh. If I made you uncomfortably introspective I am truly sorry. :-(
On the other hand . . . I still think you're a cute flirt, very funny, gentle, and kind, and I'm glad you're here. :-)

I hope I am not being to promiscuous. Remember the Pee Wee Hearmen Movie (not the one he was at in the florida theatre) but when he lost his bike. I get what I call the lost bike symplex when I see so many walking hand in hand with lovers and my hands are swinging solo. I guess I subsitute his bike for a partner and I feel as sad and "lost" as he did. I have pleny of bikes,but...
I wonder, now, if that was kinda a metaphore in the movie for lonliness in general.
OMG, and while I have you here...if you followed my college links to SILS at Suny NY, I now realize that I basically told the whole boared literally where I live within a couple of miles radius. I did not even relize that until this mornig. I guess if you were to choose SILS, you have a friend in Buffalo already. Here is an actual link to the deparment, if you ever want to check it out

I looked at it in more detail this Am, as I might call my old advisor for some feedback on if I should go back, even though her and hubby now took full faculty positions in Florida and realized that between the two of them there CV's come to over 200 pages. I am really amazed at all of the work they have done.
