I'm a sucker for anything with four legs and a furry face. I just took in a semi-feral kitten with a bad eye - and I already have five indoor cats, a rabbit and a turtle!!! Is there such a thing as animal addiction?

Yeah, I'm the same way with men and I think that they definitely count as animals from time to time!!! :)

Probably. Your turtle's not furry so you sound attracted to any animal. I'm the same way & have fought taking in strays. It helps that I rent so I can't adopt everything I see but I'd very much like to but I realise that too many animals means I can't spread my love for them far enough without having the others get jealous.
I'm not a motherly sort for human babies but I seem to have a real need to mother something so I guess animals are it. Besides, they look much sweeter to me.
