The engimas of life

Posted by kiddo on November 23, 2001, at 22:26:05

Well, my pdoc upped my dose of Lamictal from 100mg BID to 150, made me really sick & I dropped it back to 100. So yesterday, I upped it to 125 BID-spent my entire day in the kitchen baking and preparing our Thanksgiving dinner (yeah, it's late, but schedule conflicts overruled), and so far I've had no 'outbursts'. I don't know if it's because I'm cycling or if it's the Lamictal (probably the former) but I'm not complaining. It seems as if I always post a message when I'm down and out, so I wanted to post a halfway decent one this time :-)

I'm glad to know you had an UP day kiddo. These are the times we strive for and the moments that hold all our hopes. I hope it keeps going for you.

LOL-Did you really mean to change that to 'enemas' instead of enigmas? That's a hoot. Yeah, I am still feeling better, and still not complaining. I'm starting to think the increase does have something to do with it. I haven't told my pdoc that I increased it, but since he wanted to make it 150, I didn't htink it would hurt to make it 125.

Yeah kiddo, I meant to change it. Just a little laugh to celebrate your good times. When I was young, that's how I thought the word was pronounced. It drove my english teachers crazy. All that silent g stuff. I used to say "styma" too instead of stigma. To quote a good friend, I've always been a bit of a "brat" LOL
love ya kiddo

Keep up the "good" work. I'm glad your meds are actually doing the job they are supposed to do.

I've been a 'brat' since I can remember :-) I used to drive my teachers crazy too, but it wasn't grammar, it WAS everything else though. I thought you meant that change, but to be sure I went back and checked my spelling! When my son was little, he replaced his t's with f's, so everytime he said truck....well you can put it together!

Yeah, I'm glad my meds are working too, but I wish Neurontin was generic, that worked the best of anything I'd ever taken. It totally changed things for me-but wayyyy too expensive for my income! We'd better not talk too much about meds-Dr B will move us to PB. I'm trying to beat him to the punch! :-)

awwww, dats so tweet, I wuv you too :-)
