HOW could I have held onto him? :'( PLEASE HELP!!!

Posted by Clemence on September 8, 2006, at 14:46:07

I am 16 years old. My problem is this: when I was in my last year of primary school I fell in love with a boy called Daniel. He often tried to talk to me and people told me that he fancied me. However when it came to high school I got sent to the local comprehensive and he got sent to a private all boy's school.
I was in the depths of despair as I loved him and had wanted to spend the rest of my life with him.
I never saw him again.
My question to you is this: how could I have held onto Daniel? What could/should I have done when I first started high school to hold onto him??PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Can anyone tell me???

Hi, Clemence.

Welcome to Psychobabble.

Sorry you're so distrubed by this.

Could you tell how long it's been since you've seen Daniel?

Is there any reason that your thoughts about him have become more troubling recently? Sometimes, one remembers old friends or loves, because of something going on in the present, and feels the absence of that person more acutely. Could that be the case now?

Do you live with your parents?

Maybe if you tell us a little more about yourself, people here will be able to understand and respond better.

Jost

Hi, I know this might sound a bit shocking but I haven't seen Daniel since primary school. NO...there have been no events in my life which made me remember him...it's just I have NEVER really been able to forget him....ever :'( I REALLY REALLY loved him.
I live with both my parents

if you can't do anything now what's the point? You come to percieve things a different way over the years.
