And why stop at chests? Hairy shoulders, hairy thighs, hairy butt and - my particular favourite - hair in the small of the back.
I'm also attracted to men without much body hair, but I think there's something rather basic (and animal?) about my attraction to hair. When I stroke a man's skin and feel hair beneath my fingertips I feel a kind of shockwave of desire. In fact, just seeing a little hair peeking out the top of a man's shirt (where his tie would be if he were wearing one) is sometimes enough to make me think about abandoning principles and safety and social conventions and just ripping the shirt off him and licking him. I haven't ever done it though...
Wow, I haven't felt this excited since I started taking Prozac... Time for a cold shower!
Sorry if all this was TMI; I don't have much sense of what's appropriate at the moment...

I hate men who shave their chests, unless they have a really good reason for it
back hair *freaks* me out. like, almost as much as spiders. Almost as much as this one lovely young italian women wearing a sundress, looking like a fashion ad, until.... she raised her arm. I can never get over this. Call me an insensitive north american... is this uncivil? I didn't mean to offend anyone. These are my opinions about men as my potential mates, not about men in general.

The guy I work with in the office DOES NOT grow hair under his arm. YES, his armpits are bald!! How about that!!!

The absence of specific secondary sexual characteristics could indicate a problem in steroid conversion. Urge him to get it checked out, if he hasn't yet.

His brother, father and grandfather don't have armpit hair either. But they have a lot of hair everywhere else. No! I have not their privates either!

...I think that less..is more. I never got into the whole tufts of hair coming out of a man's shirt colar. Bleck!
As far as the underarm shaving...whatever makes him happy, I guess.
