I hope you have a great day, as well, amester. I could tell you that much easier if your email worked. I'm getting "Returned mail" notices. Is your inbox full?

You're not you know. Even on your worst days your being here is better than your not. And even on those days you somehow bring smiles and warmth with you.
Please just take very good care of you.

Transparent you may be, but I'm still getting failure notices from your email account. It makes me a little worried.

Nope. Failed again. My ISP service tech says the problem is at your end. His test messages bounce too. My ISP service tech says you should call your ISP service tech.
Any idea what this means:
" ----- The following addresses had permanent fatal errors -----
<XXXXXXXXXXX@XXXX.net>
(reason: 550 Access denied...4c68a1011d0089c9ecb84141b8e1e13de139311861053d3db985ed9d28ed5cadb9bcad...)"Anybody? Is that a "blocked sender" event?

Amy, this all started suddenly. I was replying to an email from you, by simply hitting the reply button. When that bounced, I checked the headers against what I had on file, in my address book. The way I have OE configured, if I reply to any person, their name is added to my address book automatically. If there had been a change in any of the parameters, there would have been a new entry for you. There is not. Everything looks as it should.
You are receiving babblemail? I sent one test message to you, and you didn't reply.

Of all the possibilities, I thought it was worth checking. It's just a few mouse clicks, to check your block sender settings.
Otherwise, I don't have any idea what went wrong. My ISP help-desk people say the problem is on your end.

hi larster!:) (and anyone else who is just a little bit curious as to what's happened, here :))
here is the ISP person's email to me concerning the problem (below)...your instincts were right...you were blocked...but not by me...lol. (btw, i don't even have the capacity to block someone, unless i pay like 83 cents per month..that is quite a bargain ;)) my remaining question is, if it was a block, how come the isp tech dude couldn't email me either? unless you meant he tried emailing with *your* email address sending the email...anyway, sorry...here's the email!:
Hello Amy,Thank you for contacting the NetZero email support.
Mail from the IP [xxxxxxx] was blocked because it triggered our anti-spam
limits. Please be assured that we have contacted the domain authorities and are
working with them to resolve this problem as soon as possible. If you have any further questions or problems, please write back.

No, clearly it is not you attracting chaos. It is you attracting spam. Now, I have to ask. Does that mean you make a fine sandwich?
I don't understand. My ISP uses outgoing filters, too.
Maybe your ISP thinks I am spam. I don't know if I should feel good or bad about that.
Well, thanks for clearing it up. Does that mean it's fixed, or is the guy just making words?
Ever curious,
Lar

well i'm really glad you asked that, larry!..question answer shmmanswer...it seems to me that we should stick with what we *do* know, here, lar...it seems, rather unfortunately, that you attain a rather rare form of speech disorder, commonly known as peddlitis, capable of setting off even the most diligent combination of ingoing and outgoing filters.
i'll have you know that i am currently lobbying for the addition of a new board for this horrible disease, as it is quite contagious and could very well spell the end of internet communications as we know it!!! be afraid, be VERY afraid, my friend.
aimstah:)
p.s. well...you asked!!! ;)

Peddlitis? Dear goddess, not that!
Errr, what is it, precisely?
Spock to me.
