I have the packet in my hand and I will file the fee waiver request next week. Has anyone been through this? Representing myself in court sounds scary but I think I can do it! I have to. I have no money and Legal Aid won't take my case.

And yes I have come a long way. I have moved into my parents home with my three children and my husband's on the "don't leave me; I promise I'll go back to AA again" kick now. I pleaded with legal aid again to take my case now that I've left him, and I'll find out in 7 to 10 days which road I'll be taking. I've also considered cashing in my life insurance policy to hire an attorney. Time will tell. Thanks for the support!

And a woman at the Women's Resource Center will help me with all of the forms. I just don't want to screw anything up and make ANY mistakes regarding the children and/or property division so I am still trying to find help from an attorney if I can get one for free. Say a prayer for me!
