Most of these threads seem to end in my comments... Am I sticking my nose in places that it shouldn't be?
I realize that I may be acting like the "anxious- to- please- new- girl", can you guys tell me to bugger off when I should, please??
Obviously, Susan47, you "get" my sense of humor, so I don't really expect a response to this from you...
I'm really not trying to "end all conversation", I'm sorry if that's what I have done.
I've been practicing the CBT.... has it made me callous instead of less vulnerable?? If so, I apologize...

You're not going to believe this, but you and I are just two of the posters who think they are "thread killers"! It completely unnerved me the first couple of times. Now, well, I don't know what to think. I guess threads reach a natural ending, if not conclusion. Sometimes I don't think of anything to contribute until it's too late anyway. And I have started a few dead ended threads, which is not encouraging.
How about thinking of your posts as a "finishing touch"?

hi Sunny,
I don't think you're annoying! I think we all get that feeling about ourselves at least once in a while. Don't take it to heart if people don't respond to all of your posts - you're not a thread killer by any means. Keep posting and things will even out...:)
take care,
JenStar

I'm the one who's supposed to feel censured here because every thread seems to end with ME. :[

I really believe that this is something every single dedicated babbler experiences. I have bemoaned the very same thing and even threw my toys by saying I didn't belong.
I used to feel panicked if I posted a joke on social and didn't get a single smile. Now I know that my jokes are touring the world. That's all I need.
Sunny, I still get this feeling from time to time, but not in a way that hurts or angers me. I just decided to be cheeky and start new threads everytime one ended with me.
Your presence here is valuable.

Interesting the way you end some of your own posts... just initials "pc"... are you really implying that your response was meant to be "politically correct"?
Because it was definitely "PC"... I'll try to develop a thicker skin (and figure out who doesn't appreciate my comments in general...).Thanks, partlycloudy! Nice to know I'm not the only one that feels this way!

Thanks for acknowledging me, everyone, as I said, I'll try to grow that tougher hide....

I am so annoying that I would do that anyway, I guess...
I guess I was trying to ferret out who DOESN'T appreciate what I say, so I can stay out of their threads. I'm trying to exhibit basic courtesy...
thanks again,

I know there're people here who don't appreciate my comments and that's okay with me. There's several babblers who don't respond to anything I post to them, and, so what? You know who you are Sunny, and if you're a good person that's all that really matters, imo. You can't make everyone satisfied or pleased or understanding. You're a treasure too hon, you made my day :)
