Strangely appropriate

"'Cause you can't jump the track, we're like cars on a cable
And life's like an hourglass, glued to the table
No one can find the rewind button, girl.
So cradle your head in your hands."

It sure is. Thank you for posting that (I think).

Funny, I walked into the pharmacy this morning and that's what I heard.
I'm going to be out of lamictal because I forgot to drop it off earlier. They've got to send it through the mail, my pdoc is away and I've got 2? left. I like to keep things interesting. ;-)

Interesting in psych meds is generally a bad thing. How about seeing if the local pharmacy can sell you just enough tablets to tide you over. They might do it without a prescription. If not, are there any other doctors who will give you an emergency prescription for a weeks worth. Also I seem to recall lamictal tablets are splitable so you might save some money that way if you have to go the new prescription route.

I'm away, and not able to go to my regular pharmacy.
I have an old script for seven 25mg tablets of lamictal (from when I last lowered the dose). That can cover me for 2 days (almost, since I take 100mgs per day). On Monday I can call the covering pdoc and ask him to call in a script to cover me until my mail order script comes in.

Sounds terribly complicated to me.

It was a hellish day, Jane, god awful.
