When you were born, you were perfect and innocent; some where along the way, a person or people told you lies about yourself (not good enough, not pretty, not smart, not capable....loser, etc., etc.....)
Even though it doesnt' help much. Remember this, those people felt that way about THEMSELVES, and projected it onto you (innocent and perfect you), and you began to believe the lies.
It is difficult to make those tapes shut up (I know), but keep fighting them....They were never true....You are (all) that tender, lovely newborn with so much promise to fulfill.....don't let anyone tell you different
Remember, if someone is secure within themselves, they have no need to put anyone else down.......
