>did you say magic bullet?? (me wanting one) lol, not sure why this is so funny to me.
does anyone else think it's strange that i am laughing at my suicidal thinking?
it's weird, it's almost like i'm getting hypomanic energy and humor WITH the lovely depressive thinking.??confused
b2c.*Sorry...ummmm....I kinda laughed too.....
AND.....I think ITS OK!!!!!
Cuz humour, dark humour included, I beleive is hugely lifegiving.
It helps us to blow off steam.
I post sometimes on a dissoc disorder board, and I've psoted a coupla jokes. And Llurpy has cracked a coupla funny DD jokes too!!!
And, I supposed I could choose to get offended...but i choose to LAUGH!!! cuz it feels good, ansd lets loose some of the stuff pent up inside.
As far a bullet, guess it especially 'struck'(humour INTENDED-sick but WTF) me as funny, as it was my method of choice when I was gonna go (cept it was a shotgun, so the correct term would be 'slug', not bullet-there's a joke in here SOMEwhere....?!).
So ya, balck humour can be OK around the right people.
Its raw, its REAL, and sometimes it helps.
Just my thots.

Sometimes life is just too too ________ (fill in with appropriate synonym for *crazy*)
and one takes 2.5 steps backwards and starts laughing (hysterically?) and that's usually when the fun begins in therapy.
I have a lot of fun in Therapy lately. T with his ribald sense of humor. Llurpy making fun of her recently diagnosed bipolarity, and sick of crying about the dead cat. I wonder whether the white noise machine can disguise my cackles.
I've decided to embrace the bipolarity diagnosis. For wellbutrin has definitely pushed me from major depression into something that kind of borders on the hyperhappies....
dot dot dot...
muffled, if you find it funny, laugh away. It's a gift to be able to laugh.

I also can see as how the use of humour could be used as a distraction from other stuff one might want to avoid in therapy....> I have a lot of fun in Therapy lately. *Do you 'cackle!!!' oh my, I GOTO hear you cackle!!!!?

There is the power to hurt and the power to heal in laughter.
Its powerful stuff.
Both ways.
