(((((((((((((All Babblers))))))))))))))

Posted by muffled on April 20, 2007, at 1:28:46

Its dark, but the sun will rise and shine warmly again. It will.
We all deserve to let ourselves just to sit there and feel its warmth soak into our souls.
Immerse ourselves in the wonder and beauty of nature.
There is love in this world, and lotsa hurt, but there is love, and love is so beautiful.

At this time of year the sun sparkles off the sea in diamond shapes and the blue of the sky reaches down to us....you just look at it and think how beautiful it is, even though we suck.

Nooooo... we don't!

Life might have let us down sometimes, and there has been some real s**t thrown at us... but WE don't suck! You don't- Muffled don't- I don't!

I think we're all great little Babblers... each and every one.

Muffled dahling, you are a gem.

the sun does come out sometimes

Babble is a sanctuary.

but i, like declan, am pretty certain i really do suck.

i even hide from the sun, like a creature of the night. It hurts my eyes and burns my soul.

but grow little babble flowers, grow.

Oh Delcan wants to remind us that humanity sucks. He hasn't forgotten that we should all truly be misanthropes at heart. He carries the torch for that-- for which I, for one, thank him.

{{Declan}} (I'm in a huggy mood, hope that's okay, Declan)

I think today counts as a "good day"

I just wanted to share.

now so that this won't get redirected asap.

onto something more... psychological...

I was in pdoc's office today and he asking asking about what we talk about in therapy. one thing led to another and

(get your minds out of the gutter!)

I got to relive 2 brandnewrepressed memories. in all their terrifying horror. In a safe place, pdoc's office. Wow, and I survived and I didn't even go into dissociated trance-land. and I emerged. once again victorious.

do we suck? Well, it is one of the few behaviors in the newborn's repertoire. So yes. We live, therefore we suck.

You're quite right bil, we're all very nice.

It just doesn't work out as well as you might hope (disappointed optimist?).

I like to be like that American someone or other who said 'I never met a man I didn't like', some of the time, and some of the time I can't stand anything.

My T said I needed to grow a skin.
Instead of having a membrane, I stuck myself onto things, got stuck onto things, found myself trapped in rooms, and spoke in other people's voices.
I try here to find my voice.
If me back then asked me now for advice, I'd just say 'Please don't worry, spirit seeks form.'

Declan, you've always had a very singular voice. Very distinct, and never seemed contrived to fit a form or stick to something else. You're okay.

Is it easier in writing or in person to have one's own voice? I find it's easier in writing. Maybe that's why me and my advisor get along except when we have to write stuff together. She doesn't appreciate my voice, at least not the academic voice I have.

Membranes are good. I like that. better than armor, because membranes are flexible, open to transport of nutritious substances and excretion of toxins. membrane... :)
