There was mention of a link to a site regarding how to deal better with feeling crappy.
TofuE - I think you mentioned it to Deneb on Social - mentioned posting it on Admin.
I can't seem to find it.
I can't remember what you called it - some professional-type word that had to do with finding better ways to deal with feeling crappy.
I could use help in that area!!!!!
thx, Kath

Sure thang.
This site has info from Marsha Linehan's workbook on DBT. The section I mentioned to Deneb is on Distress Tolerance.

I thought DBT was for people with self destructive tendencies. Am I wrong? Love Phillipa

That's what it was originally for, but now it's used for all sorts of things. I have PTSD and depression, and I did a DBT distress tolerance group and it helped teach me skills for handling distress that I just didn't have. I don't SI or anything, but having skills helps me feel less like I'm about to lose it.
