How Do You Find Patience to Wait

Posted by Phillipa on October 20, 2006, at 10:48:30

I drive myself crazy as I have a lot of medical problems right now and of course meds don't help me never did. I am having more than trouble waiting for consult with other docs and mammograms that were abnormal before. I'm driving myself crazy. And to make things worse I can't be alone isn't it crazy a 60yr old woman who used to take care of everyone else and go whereever I wanted now can't even go to the grocery store alone. Is my life over? That's how I feel. No hope everytime I get them up that they have found the reason for my depression/anxiety is isn't so. Love Phillipa

Soo sorry Phillipa - you are having such a hard time. Waiting to feel better is SOOO hard. But the waiting will pay off in the long run. It DOES get better. You have to believe that. I believe it. I just wish it would hurry up too.

Take care.

How's it going with the Luvox, Phillipa? You had decided to increase your dose, and see if it helped.

How far did you get with that?

How did your visits to Ts go?

I know how you feel somewhat as I just turned 49 and I feel like my medical problems are that of an 80 year old. I'm so sorry you are going through this hard time and I can feel your frustration with the way you have to wait for ever to be taken care of. I too know how hard it is to have anxiety/depression. It almost cripples your mind.
I hope you can feel some hope somewhere, I believe there is hope, I just don't think there is hope in all things??
