I work for a nutty family doing private nursing for their daughter. This is the only work I have since the harrassment at former job. There was sooo much screaming and physical fighting I started crying and could not stop. I called my agency and told them I would finish my shift but would never work there again. I think it's time for disablity. terrics

Hi Terrics,
You definitely don't need that kind of stress. I'll bet you're not the only one who has told the agency that you won't work there again.

Hi Poet, Yep you are right. From what I understand quite a few nurses will not work there. Thanks for realizing that. terrics

Sounds like you had a normal reaction to an abnormal situation, as they say. I don't think that anyone should have to put up with a job where there is physical fighting and screaming (well, unless you are a cop). Sounds like what you did was actually quite healthy and protective of yourself. Jobs all have their problems, but this is a bit much.
