This is one of my major problems in trying to navigate interpersonally in real life and apparently on the internet. I have a terrible memory. I don't know why it is, I have many possible theories which all could be possible. Suffice it to say, I end up saying many stupid things cuz I should know better, but I forgot and don't know. Its really hard cuz it makes it seem like I don't care about people, but I do. Stuff just doesn't stay in my head. I can be fairly intelligent, but mostly I act stupid so noone expects much of me and so the memory thing won't seem so bad.
I guess its just one of those things you don't realize is so important until your the one that doesn't have it. :(
Oh well.
Just so you all know I do care. There seems to be the nicest people here. I'm just kind of stunned.

Some medicines do that to one's memory. My short-term has turned to mush.

I am a master at the art of forgetting- often because I'm preoccupied - or have learned remembering too much is a real hassle (when most of it is unpleasant), staying present in the moment has been quite frightening at times
Anyway-just my thoughts on the subject of forgetting- forget all you need to- you'll remember what you need to
