i've just been prescribed lamictal and lexapro for a mood disorder. i was on lexapro once before and it worked for a while, but it stopped a couple months in and all i could get were samples.
but i was wondering if anyone takes lamictal and if it has worked for you. i'm kind of nervous about taking medications because i've never really taken any before, besides the samples of lexapro.
and are there any bad side effects? is alcohol a big no-no with them?
thanks.

Hi Torey. I think you were probably intending this for (plain) Psycho-Babble, the medication board, so I redirected it there. Here's a link.

That being said, Lamictal makes me groggy so I've been noncompliant with taking it. So I've never gone up to an effective doseage. I don't like it, but I also don't think I have the right to comment, since I'm not taking it correctly.
This is the end of the thread.
