I haven't been able to get into my T's office for well over a month. We've been doing phone sessions twice a week to see me through this stressful time. Today was a good one, if for no other reason than she just knew what to do.
I started tearing up and tried to stiffle it 'cause I knew our time was running short. I just cut the tears off. She asked me why and I told her. Really I think I was just sad because I really needed to hear her voice. She broke in with a scheduling issue with our next phone session and sorting that out took way longer than it should have (intentionally on her part, I think).
Then out of the blue, she asked me if there was anything else I wanted to say. I told her that I miss seeing her and being in the room with her. She said she misses being with me, too.
It feels good when we're on the same page and she just seems to *know* what I need.
