I was wondering if anyone had information about this. does it work? is it practiced by many? What is the difference between this and cbt?
I tend to be a deep thinker and I suffer from GAD (not a good combo) was thinking of exploring this with my psych.

I don't know much about the details of this type of therapy. But I do know that it likely wil feel very different from CBT. I think you will focus more on the meaning of events and beliefs. You and your T will work to identify, express, and perhaps re-construct your own meaning. If you are a deep thinker, it makes sense that this approach may be more satisfying than CBT. You might also consider a more psychodynamic or experiential approach.
Good luck, and keep us posted!

Is that from Victor E. Frankel and his work?
Wow, that sounds so cool. His work saved my life at one time. I read his book, "Man's Search for Meaning" and loved it.
