serzone + prozac?

Posted by nilla on May 18, 2003, at 20:57:53

hey.. I'm on 400 mg of serzone... I used to take 500 or 600 several years ago.. recently got back on serzone and have been at 400... seemed to be helping but I think I've plateaued. My new doc is giving me a hard time about increasing my dosage (despite my positive results in the past.)

Time for me to suggest something else to the doc... so, anyone have any ideas of meds that have been sucessful in combining with serzone? wellbutrin didn't do anything, paxil didn't do anything.. tried sam-E as well as fish oil and/or flax seed oil. no luck. also tried effexor xr separately and that was a mess.

friends have suggested prozac as an extremely effective med. should I suggest a low dosage of this in conjuction with my serzone? All personal experiences welcome... SSRI's have been most successful with me.

thanks!

Hi nilla. I think you probably wanted Psycho-Babble, the medication board, so I redirected your post there. Here's a link

Hope that helps.
