Does anyone else get this weird feelings in the arms and legs? My Dr. increased my dose from 75mg to 150 mg. I feel extremely tired and my arms and legs feel heavy or almost like their not mine. I didn't have this when I started on Effexor so why now with an increase in dose. My dose was increased because I had PMS from (*&. Thd Dr. said I shouldn't have PMS while on Effexor. Anyone else with either weird arms and leg feelings or a change in PMS?

Hi Marra,
It looks as if you probably want the medication board, Psycho-Therapy, rather than this board, Psychological-Babble. I redirected your post there and you can find it using hte links at the top of the page, or you can use the link below to go directly to your post. Hope this helps.

what you have is peripherial neuropathy, and your doctor should be wise enough to tell you that. It features a tingling, odd sensation in your hands and feet, possibly extending into your arms and legs.
I got it from Abilify and later Risperdal, two antipsychotics. It's rather rare with Effexor.
