i was diagnosed with bpd 3 months ago. nothing works as far as counciling and they are tryin to keep me off meds. i have become really paranoid since i found out thinking every one know. i dont think many do unless i tell them. i also suffer from depression and anxiety. i have panic/ anxiety attacks. (great combo huh?) well it seems my support system has flown out the window. no one comes round and its a fight because i have a daughter to raise. i am only 21 i cant do it alone. any one have any advise on what i can do. i am comming close to comming apart at the seams.

I'm sorry you got stuck with that label- it's probably the main reason why no one will prescribe meds. Why don't you ask your internist/primary physician for a benzo like xanax to lower your anxiety level right now. It's often difficult to make rational decisions when you feel like you're falling apart (been there many times). Do you have a good therapist? Just explain you need help right now to calm down (medical help) and then maybe you'll be able to concentrate on learning coping skills to calm yourself down. I wish you all the best- judy
