X's three antidepressants

Posted by mcsisrod on January 22, 2007, at 14:40:24

I have been on the following antidepressants for about 6 months or more, wellbutrin 300mgs, trazadone 50mg, effoxor XR 150mg.
I would like your feedback on this topic.
Is there any harm taking all these meds.? On my recent visit I explained to him that I thought
none of those Meds. were working for the depression, now he is weaning me off of effexor,I will take 2 caps of effexor for 5 days, then one capsules a day x's five days.
The replacement will be Prozac 20mg, I will be
starting these the same day my weaning starts.
The directions on prozac is one tab x's 7 days
then increase to two tabs a day.
What do you think?

Hello mcsisrod,

Welcome to babble. Since your question is about medication you might want to post the question again on the psychobabble board. There is a link for psychobabble at the bottom of the page. The psychobabble board deals with medication issues. You will probably find lots of good advice and answers there. Good Luck with your meds. :-)

Regards,
happykat
