I just found this and registered this morning, MENHARY was my licence plate, my sons name was Harrison Cody, when he was born I took him everywhere with me, my brother started calling us "me and Harry" and it stuck, after a long series of very tragic events, I have been on just about every SSRI and psychotropic. After complaining to doctors for years, to no avail, I just quit, thanksgiving 2005, finally I am able to string a sentence together, after years of only being a drooling zombie, and am now becoming aware of all the horrendous adverse effects caused by the drugs that I was on, I feel so betrayed, or duped, I started a file listing all my symptoms that have been caused by these drugs, willing to compare notes, well really just want to chat with anyone in the same predicament. menhary@comcast.net

Hey. Welcome to Babble. This board is looking a little quiet... Feel free to jump on in to any of the other boards, or you could continue to post to this one if you would like. Yeah, some people find some fairly horrid side effects off psych meds. Glad you are doing better now :-)

The main babble board deals with prescription medication so that is probably your best bet if you are looking for advice on how to find a good p-doc (psychiatrist).
There might be someone in your area who can make a reccomendation, or people might just be able to give you some good advice on how to find a good one.
