How do I help someone with anxiety

Pls help me
My husband suffers from bad anxiety. He's on adivan 3 tiems a day, 2mg.the past two weeks have been bad, we've been to the ER twice this week.Hes scared to take any phsyc. meds cuz he had a bad reaction to one of them. But the dr perscribed him Seroquel. How do I convince him that it will help? and how do I comfort him during on of his attacks?

pls just help me, for him

Hi there, and welcome to Babble. I think it's great that you're trying to help your spouse with this. There are so many different medications and combinations that work to treat anxiety with - I know because I have taken many of them.

Try posting your question on the main Psycho Babble board, which is for medication related questions.
