Hi there! I've been reading the posts on here (esp the ones about therapy) for a while now and thought I should introduce myself before posting anything just so you know who I am!
I have personally been in psychotherapy for a year and can relate to all the posts I've read on the psych board about how difficult it is. I have a history of drug addiction, though I've been clean for a few years and it's not an issue now.. I have struggled with ED stuff, I have this pattern of dipping back into anorexic habits whenever I have 'feelings'! Dealing with that in therapy... as well as a big history of s/x abuse..
SO thats a bit about me. I'm a psychology student which I LOVE so kinda have a clinical/intellectual interest in my processes as well as the whole therapy process in general..

Welcome to Babble.I've been in therapy for just over two years now, and I've learned a TON from reading posts here.

thanks SO much for the warm welcome! I feel like I've learnt heaps already from what I've read. And I've also read 'in session' which seems to be mentioned quite a bit on here..

Yeah, we had Deborah Lott as a guest expert a little while back. You can find some of the questions people asked her (and her responses) in the archives on the psychology board.
