well i did something stupid i have been on effexoe for 5 days now i was out last night with my friends and my friend gave me somw ecstasy(mdma)i completly forgot that i was taking new meds... until about 20 mins later when i remembered i started freaking out thinking oh my what have i done???later that night i didnt feel much nut i am still a little uneasy with what i have done, can any one tell me if they have taken antidepressants with ecstasy before and what happened am i going to be ok?

Hey there. I really think... That you are going to be okay. I guess the official line is that they probably haven't trialed it etc etc. But I have been on a LOT of medications over the years and taken a LOT of recreational drugs and while the drugs affected my mood (both the high and the withdrawal / recovery period) I didn't have a nasty side effect or anything like that.
It might be worth asking about interactions over on the main Babble board as people over there know a lot more about medications and possible interactions than me. I can only speak from my experience and maybe there are cases of interactions reported.
People might be able to offer something helpful over on the substance board too.
