Hello All. I have frequented this board for a number of years while battling with recovery from all sorts of substances and trying to gain knowledge of medications, particularly the benzo's. My views on addiction and recovery have shifted around quite a bit. It's facinating to me how people subscribe to different belief systems and how different things work for different people. I'm currently being treated for possible bipolar disorder. It's tough to make the diagnosis because of the amounts of substances that I've used... the chicken or the egg? I hope to be able to share what I've learned, and also gain from the insights of others here.

Hello and welcome (back) to Babble!
I think the boards have changed a bit over the years... Mostly with the addition of new boards.
You might be particularly interested in the main babble board (about medications) the substance board (about addictions to both prescription and illicit substances) and check out social for general chat and support. There is also a faith board for matters of religion / spitual faith, a politics board, and so on and so forth... And of course you have already discovered the newbies board :-)
Nice to meet ya.
Look foward to reading your posts :-)
