Wow that's a tough question to answer.
I have heard that that's a hard drug to come off of.but first I'd like to say:
welcome to babble...
we have an incredibly lively and intelligent community.
Please feel free to check out the different boards.
One that might interest you is the psycho babble board.
this board has great many people who ask questions about meds.
you might find support and information from some of the people who have gone through the same situation as you.I highly recommend a walkabout in babble land.
If you look at the top or bottom of the site here, there are highlighted options.
Psycho babble might just be your first visit.once again welcome to babble.
also if you have anymore questions, please ask.Jai Narayan

Hi, I'm partlycloudy and was on Effexor for over a year. Did you change to another medication or did you wean off meds completely? I switched to Cymbalta and had no ill effects from tapering off the Effexor. I seem to be in a minority??
I also take several other meds, and how do you know which one is making your head spin, sometimes?Welcome!
